Dr. GRANT
I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. My love of animals and curiosity about becoming a veterinarian started at a very young age. I began working at Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital in 1998 as a kennel assistant. I attended Michigan Technological University and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. My interest in becoming a veterinarian remained strong and I graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Following graduation, I immediately returned to my hometown small animal practice as an associate veterinarian and eventually became
the owner of the practice.
In 2022, I decided to relocate to beautiful northern Michigan. I enjoy spending time outdoors, including skiing, hiking, biking, and lake activities. I share my home with my young Pointer/Lab Mix (Jett) and my 3-legged senior cat (Ronnie).
