I grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. My love of animals and curiosity about becoming a veterinarian started at a very young age. I began working at Mt. Pleasant Animal Hospital in 1998 as a kennel assistant. I attended Michigan Technological University and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. My interest in becoming a veterinarian remained strong and I graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Following graduation, I immediately returned to my hometown small animal practice as an associate veterinarian and eventually became
the owner of the practice.
In 2022, I decided to relocate to beautiful northern Michigan. I enjoy spending time outdoors and can often be found on the ski hill or on a hiking trail with my 2 senior dogs, Twister and Faye. We also share our home with a 3-legged senior cat named Ronnie.
